Not the old school pumpkin carving

Pumpkin carving is something I look forward to do with the kids every year. Last year my son Cameron wanted a T-rex carved on this pumpkin. So after looking for just the right t-rex I made it happen.

This year we went to the pumpkin patch with his pre-school class. It was really windy but a lot of fun. We took a hay ride out to the field to a corn maze that ended in the pumpkin patch. After finding just the right pumpkin it was a hay ride back to have juice and a snack. We also got to see two baby cows and two baby rabbits and the kids had a lot of fun.

When it came to the pumpkin carving Cameron said he wanted a dinosaur and I said another T-Rex and he said no this time a Triceratops. So again the hunt was on for a picture of just the right Triceratops, not too scary or mean (per Cameron) so once I found just the right one off I was.

My daughter Kiya who is 2 I thought we would just do the old school face cut out pumpkin but no after she saw Cameron's she wanted a Princess, ugh! what did I start? So again after looking for just the right princess I was able to make her the "best pumpkin ever" in her words.

I'm not sure what I've started, our kids might never have a normal pumpkin but they love watching me make their wish come true and they help along the way. Can't wait to see what they come up with next year.
