Very quick Paper flower !!

Updated on January 13, 2015

Things needed to prepare this flower

Create this paper flower in a quick time. Things needed for to prepare this are ,

1. Construction paper

2. Glue

3. Scissor

4. Pencil

You can make this ,using any attractive colors, or combination of colors. Can be of any sizes .

Method for making the paper flower

First, take your favorite choice of color sheet, and cut down into desired size of squares. The sizes can be any size, but that determines the size of the flower. This flower is basically arranging sheets of cut papers back to back, to give a look of petal arrangement of a flower. So it can same color of sheets can be arranged back to back, or different colors or two colors alternatively arranged. Same thought for sizes too, but arranging from big diameter sheet to small diameter will make sense and gives a real look of the flower.

So , whatever the color or size, it is your creativity and imagination and it always has special value !!!.

Flower making:

Pick your squared cut sheets and fold them into halves. arrange all of the cut sheets of same size and do fold them halves.

Stem making:

Pick a green color paper of desired length, and start rolling them horizontally until it attains a decent thickness to look like a stem of a flower and glue the end, you can even make a thin cone, with a small mouth and a sharp edge, glue the end.

Draw a flower design on the folded bunch papers in one side alone. It is enough , if you draw in the first sheet of paper alone.

Now, start cutting the semi designed flower carefully alongside the design, holding the full bunch of folded papers . you can improvise the petal design while cutting also, I have sharpened the edges of the petals, to give a daisy flower look.

Hold it grip , as the same cutting is taken for all the sheets, so any mistake while cutting will affect all the sheets that are folded.

Once the cutting is over, you can unfold the sheets and separate them into individuals, you will get layers of flower sheets of different colors, different sizes, also the stem will be dry after gluing.

Make a hole in the middle of the flower petal sheets, to facilitate it to enter the stem on the middle. Careful while making the hole, since we are not going to apply the glue to stick the flower with stem, this hole is necessary to be bit smaller and tighter to enter the stem, otherwise flower sheets will roll down to the bottom, causing it a big mess.

Start stacking the flower sheets one by one, from the bottom of the stem, arrange it according to the size and color combinations.

As the hole in the flower sheet is small, push it little hard to reach the top of the stem and also gives a nice blooming effect to the flower.

Swirl the top edge of the stem to get a finished look.

That's it !!, fantastic paper flower is ready in a very quick time with minimal products.
