This Year in our Garden; Macro Photography
I'm really proud of these photos of the life in our garden this year - hope you'll enjoy.

The Alium and the Bee
When I started this hub I thought it was going to be a one-off excursion into my garden to play with a new macro lens that I had bought for my camera but I enjoyed myself so much and I was so proud of my photographs that I decided to continue taking photos of what was happening out there in my little patch of greenness.
I now intend to take photographs throughout the whole year and I hope that you will come back occasionally and visit to see what's new - we're fast approaching the end of May so I've added a whole pile of new photos as there is so much happening out there - I hope you like them.

August in the Garden and the Allotment
I hope you like these as much as I enjoyed taking them, I will of course update this from time to time as more buds decide to show their head and I can have a more varied hub, but for now if you haven't tried macro photography before I highly recommend it, you see things you'd never noticed before - all you need is a really steady hand.
If you enjoyed this hub perhaps you would be interested in these two hubs that I have written and photographed:
- Container Gardening - Growing Your Own Fruit, Vegetables and Flowers in Small Spaces
Fancy growing your own fruit and don't think you have enough room? Think again lots of information on growing in containers and in small areas.
- An English Allotment
Not only are allotments great places full of lovely things to eat, they are full of natural beauty and an escape from our busy, busy lives.
