Photos of Tattoos
How do you decide what to put on your body? How do you decide where on your body you should get the tattoo? Tattoos can be tastefully done and I have seen some tattoos recently that were of flowers (dogwood blooms) and a bird (blue jay). They were beautiful. It seems like such a decision to decide what you might want to put on your body permanently. They say that tattoos are addicting and I can see why. If I was going to get a tattoo, it would be something that wouldn't be too big. I would want to think about it long and hard as well. In fact, there may not be anything that I would want to be permanently.
Making sure you take your time when deciding on your tattoo is important because you will have it for the rest of your life. Although tattoos can be covered with other tattoos, it is usually a limited selection. With the technology increasing today in the technique of the laser, you have a much better chance of being able to have a tattoo permanently removed with this type procedure.
Laser surgery also removes tattoos with limited scaring but the cost can certainly be in the thousands so, it's best to try to make sure that you are happy with your selection in the beginning. Just do not rush into grabbing a tat even if you have one in mind. It's better to look through the artists' books that are usually readily available to look over.
Even if you have your mind made up before you even get to a tattoo parlor its still a good idea to flip through their artwork and double check. **Remember**, tattoos are forever so get the ones you truly want. I have always been very fond of tattoos and I love how they look on others but, I am not sure how they would look on me. They can be sexy, deep or just cool looking. Either way, they are fabulous. Some can be vulgar and others can be very sweet. Everyone is different so you never know what one person may have tattooed on their body but it's fascinating seeing everyone's choices.
As mentioned above there have been major medical advancements and they now have laser surgery which can completely remove permanent tattoos with ease. Doctors and technology can do a lot more now than they used to because they have better tools to work with and great knowledgeable staff.

Art or Trash?
To me, tattoos are art without a doubt. Even the most bizarre tattoos still required the talent of the artist being able to draw the tattoos. You make not like the tattoo but, you can at least agree that it does take talent to draw the tat.Tattoos can be used as a way of expression of who a certain person is. They may be shy on the inside but, by having a tattoo, they can express themselves silently. Some people may look at body art the same way people look at a Picasso painting. I have seen tattoos on people's faces as well as covering their body. Tattoos definitely draw attention on males and females just the same.
On a woman the most common place seems the ankle, upper back, lower back, and the shoulder. These are all great spots to get inked. Of course men and women get tats everywhere and it's usually and expression of self.
On men on the other hand, tattoos are commonplace anywhere on the body. I have seen tattoos that have vulgar language or they may have ink showing their political preference. Otherwise, I generally love looking at ink on someone and sometimes the person has an interesting story about the body art they are wearing.
Some of the braver people, (depending on how you look at it), in my opinion, have had ink on there tongue and lip as well as on the face. Now, if the tattoo has too many vulgar words then maybe it's appropriate to cover it at water parks or areas like that. I guess it's a judgement call.

A Look At Different Tattoos
Taking Care of your Ink
It is important to keep your new tattoo out of the sun for a few days and also it is a must to keep your tattoo moist for a week or so. This is good advise if you want your tattoo to stay fresh and great looking, you must take care of it for a few days. If you must have direct exposure to the sun, then it's best to put a patch over your ink to protect from fading.
It is natural thing to want to get color added or to get your previous ink touched up but, if you take care of your color to begin with, you will have a shiny looking piece of art for many years. Tattoos can be covered with other tattoos or they can be removed by a certified doctor, with the use of a laser but, either way be safe and take care of your body at all costs.
From working in the medical field, I would imagine that laser surgery to modify or remove a tattoo would be considered cosmetic. You could call different dermatologists offices to find out if they do tattoo removal and schedule an appointment. They can also let you know about the price for the procedure.
Taking care of your tattoo will be easy after you get over the initial first week of the tattoo.
