Little Pigs In Love: Free Crochet Pattern!

Ah... love! These little piggies are clearly head over heels in love with each other! They make the perfect bridal shower gift and would look spectacular as a wedding cake topper! Or make a set for your Special Valentine to show your love and undying devotion! Love is always in the air when these little "love-pigs" are in the room!

This pattern has been translated and published in this article with permission of the original designer: Isabel, the crochet designer of the Magic Dots blog. She has some lovely (free!) crochet patterns on her blog that you really should check out! These patterns include some "celebrities" like Mickey Mouse, Perry the Platypus, the Angry Bird cardinal, and Doraemon, but also an adorable "Westie" puppy, sweet flower girl and happy bird keychain! The original (Spanish) version of the pattern of these little pigs can be found here.

Assembly & Finishing Touches

Attach all the crocheted parts together in the appropiate places. If you want the pigs to be able to hug each other, please keep that in mind when attaching the arms. If you only make one pig and want it to be able to hold the heart, attach the arms positioned forward.

Sew on the eyes, either closed or open (see photo above).

Give the boy pig a little felt bow tie. Give the girl pig a little bow over her ear.

Make a little necklace for the girl pig with some white pearl beads and thin ribbon.
