Crochet Your Own Plushies!
Amigurumi is a Japanese word that means crocheted or knit toy. Crocheted animals have become very popular items to make, sell and purchase. If you know how to crochet but are tired of blankets and afghans and hats then it might be time to give amigurumi a try!
Amigurumis are my absolute favorite thing to crochet. I just love watching a little doll or creature come to life before my very eyes!
On this lens I have linked to some of my favorite free amigurumi patterns that are available online. Some patterns are easier than others but I'm sure, no matter your skill level, you are going to fall in love with these little animals and dolls.

These little crochet robots (cro-bots) are super fun to stitch up and make great gifts for kids (or adults) who are interested in robots and technology. The patterns in the book are well written and easy to follow but probably not suited for an absolute beginner.

Create Your Favorite Characters from TV & Movies
I made my 6 year old cousin, Matt a Perry The Platypus doll and I'm pretty sure it was his favorite gift at the party. Perry was soon defeating villains and helping to save the world as some of Matt's other gifts watched forlornly.
Show someone you care by crafting a version of one of their favorite characters!
