If you have picture and want to turn it into a story, then that can be difficult. If it is a picture of a person, then look at what kind of situation, if any, that person is in. Look at their expresion and try to determine what kind of mood they are in. What are they looking at? How is their posture? What kind of stance are they in? Are they standing or sitting? What are they thinking about? If the picture is not of a person, but of an animal, ask the same questions. If the picture is of scenery and without people or animals, the scenery can still tell a story as though it were a person. What is the weather like? What time of day is it? What time of night is it? What time of year is it? You can even decide on a story to wright and then take a picture to go along with it instead of using a picture to invent a story.
