Graffiti has leaped and transformed from vandalism to art, the way I see it. Graffiti artists or "Aerosol Can Lovers" (as I call them) are earning and benefiting from their talents. As many business establishments are answering to these artists' freelance calls to show off their talents, it is helping them out earning decent cash. They spray paint decorative and dancing texts on stretched bare walls or the boring cold facade of factories, industrial buildings and warehouses.
From the past, the "graffiti art" was no art. It just disgusted my point of view. But as time moved on with the city's understanding about art and the acceptance of such, graffiti developed to become ART itself and recognized by many. Later on, I learned to appreciate graffiti because it has brought out the message of creativity in it. Even if it is written on a wall by a dump site or along a stinky river, it is a winning work of art!
