   What is the best 3D animation creating software?
   
   I want to create animations from pictures, like making 3d faces etc. Any good software preferably free?

   i prefer Autodesk Maya.It is a good 3D modeling software for Animation.You can see this in movie Avatar.

   3D glasses help to block the sun from your eye whilst watching 3D I recommend eating the beef and leaving out the gravy!

   If you have a student email address (college or university), you can download 3DS Max from autodesk.com for free.  You can find a number of tutorials online as well.

   I prefer 3DsMax to any of the pgroams, but it's not free - only the trial is.   I personally don't know of any 3D software that is free legally.

   I just posted a thread/topic about this not too long ago.
   
   If you are wanting to create 3D models and Animate, get into Maya 2013. It's by Autodesk. They offer it for free, but it's limited unless you are a student.
   
   You can also try ZBrush. That is a sculpting and painting program.
   
   Mudbox helps too. Also an Autodesk product. (Goes hand-in-hand with Maya)
   
   Then there is of course Photoshop. SC6 is the latest. Again not for free for full version unless you can find it from someone who is letting people copy it. But it's nice for making textures for putting on your models.
