Carpenter glue is wood glue. It is tackier than white glue and tends to set stronger. If you are gluing two pieces of wood together, put a light coat of glue onto each piece you are gluing together. Allow the glue to dry for about a minute before clamping together. This makes the glue stickier. Then clamp your two pieces of wood together using "C" clamps. Leave the clamps on til the glue dries (best is 24 hours)
Hope that helps!
