Excellent choice! I only recently learned of Bresson's works, and I am absolutely in awe of his skills. B&W photography is so poignant, and he captured all the simple beauty of life in his shots.
Impressionism brought us so many beautiful works. I am always amazed at how they could create such detail with only vague strokes.
Love that description. Yes, art can be inspired from so many things. Sometimes the artist never even knows why something caught their attention!
Renaissance art is very beautiful. It is almost intimidating to modern artists! The Renaissance masters had such a unique understanding of form and color.
Love it! African and other tribal arts are very inspirational.
Indeed! The internet has opened up new worlds for artists. The internet is where I often look for inspiration too. I love that you are able to utilize so many different mediums.
I couldn't agree more I now have my own answer and yours because they are very much like my own sentiments, thank you for saving me the time, Gareth.
Thank You...someone else that thinks like me...scary...take care
I like that. It is great to appreciate all art for what it is, and to enjoy something from each style.
I too base my works on surrealism, as well as cubism. I agree with you that Dali was a master, but a great influence for artists because his works encourage us to try new things, not just imitate.
