I love art because if reflects a variety of creative expression, and often chronicles someone's response to events in their lives...or to their environment. Some pieces tell a story. Though I'm not very religious, I love the primal painting of John the Baptist at the Boston MFA. It's one of my favorites there. Love the cool, summery feeling of Monets, and the elegance of Renoir...and the radical boldness of Pollack. I could go on and on.
I also love painting and making things. Love keeping my hands busy, and at the end, it is so satisfying to create something that others enjoy, too. :0)
