Baby shower favor ideas - How to craft a baby shoe
How to make these adorable Baby Shoe Baby Shower Favors
I am so excited to be crafting baby shower favors for my best friend and I find this task so special that I decided to create something really meaningful. It is her first baby girl and if this little girl is anything like her mom she will be a shoe and a chocolate lover... So from the beginning I decided to combine my friend biggest cravings into a fun paper baby shoe filled with Hersheys kisses and adorned with a special thank you message. A perfect little baby show favor to give to all her baby shower guests. The project was really fun and the baby shower favors were simple to craft, specially because I was able to download a free template for the shoes online from a blogger friend in Brazil and that made the task much easier to be completed. The process was so fun that I decided to create this page to share with you the results of my first attempt to craft baby shower favors. I also give you the step by step instruction on how to craft these fun little shoes followed by a link to the template. I found that it is much easier to achieve good results by using the template as a cutting guide. So hope you enjoy my step by step instructions, the template included in this page as well as the pictures of my little shoes. It is always so precious when a new baby is coming into the world and there is truly nothing better to do than to be able to craft something special, with love, for a friend that I love.

Baby-shoe Cut-Out Template
For this project I used this template as a cutting guide for the paper baby shoe. My recommendation is that you enlarge the shoe and print in a white sheet of paper until you find the perfect size for your needs. I needed my shoe to be considerably large and I made sure that the template fit a 8 and a half by 11 sheet of paper perfectly. the reason why i wanted the shoes to be a little bigger is because I want to fill it up with Hershey's kisses so I needed a little more inside room. However if you plan not to fill it up with any candy or you plan to use smaller candy such as jelly beans, mints and other you can make the shoe a little smaller as well, a suggestion is to place two templates on a 8 and half by 11 sheet of paper so there is no waist.
