53 Creative Craft Ideas Using Book Pages

In this article I'm going to share with you what I believe to be the best crafts using book pages that can be found on the internet. I will add projects to this article as I find new book page crafts to share.

All the book page craft ideas that are included here have a picture and the site name where the craft can be found. Directions for making the craft are there also.

1. Poinsettia Wreath

Make a beautiful paper wreath with poinsettia flowers using book pages and the tutorial at ALISA BURKE. This is an activity that has so many opportunities for using in other ways also. Your imagination will help with ideas. I can imagine using this paper method for Christmas art in the classroom.

2. Invisible Bookends

So, when you're using old book pages for making crafts, you also have an old book cover. Here is a great project for using the book covers as bookends. You'll find all the information that you'll need to make the bookends at A Beautiful Mess ..

3. Pages Covered Canvas Art

Imagine how different the canvas art will look with just a change of focal point. Instead of a bird, use a subject of your own choice. Check the instructions at Little Birdie Secrets, and then make a beautiful piece of art.

4. Lucky Clover

5. Colorful Greeting Cards

6. Book Pages Decorator Balls

Displaying these book page balls by placing them on overturned china cups is a really cute idea. I can also imagine them grouped in a glass or tinware bowl and used as a centerpiece or on a shelf or the mantel.       I have a page here on Hubpages where I share how I used the pages from an old dictionary to cover a lampshade. I love finding new ways to upcycle and reuse old books that can no longer be read. Thanks for showing me all of these ideas.

      I find myself attracted to book page projects like these. You would think as a librarian, I'd want every book preserved instead of cut up. I admit that some books aren't worth hanging onto and converting them to these crafts is a good idea.

      Absolutely! These are great book page crafts. I kept picking a favorite, then I read on and picked a new favorite, then read some more and picked yet another. There's plenty here to keep me busy for a good long while!
