Notes on Boleros from 1936

Boleros are here with a swankiness that makes everyone take notice. A walk up Fifth Avenue will show you at least twenty smart ones in the windows. Boleros may be forerunners of smaller wastlines and fuller skirts. ~ Home Arts Needlecraft, April 1936

Free patterns are great! I love the little bolero jackets. Being short, they seem to "fit" me better than a longer jacket.
