Burlap has a rustic look, yet it can be made into beautiful, elegant crafts. I guess that's why I love the look of burlap made items.

When I went on my search to find burlap craft projects, that also gave directions and patterns, I was pleasantly surprised to see how varied the projects were. Burlap fabric is very inexpensive to buy. Burlap can also be purchased in a number of colors, although my favorites are still the natural tones.

1. Burlap Utensil Holder

Burlap utensil holders can be used for so many different occasions. They can be used at wedding receptions, or at picnics. You'll enjoy making and using these burlap utensil holders, and can make them by following the tutorial at Uncommon Designs.

2. Sachet Bags

You may have seen an item at Hobby Lobby that looks like this, but actually, Giustina, over at Domestically Blissful saw it too, but decided to make it instead of buying it. She has a great pictured tutorial that will take you through all the steps of making this dandelion art for yourself.

5. Burlap Entwined Lights
