Penny Black "To Your Wishes"
Card with Stamped Image of Saucy Lady
"Dear Santa. Define Good."
This sexy, saucy lady in her red Santa outfit, holding up a glass of bubbly is bound to bring a smile to most faces. Who among us hasn't silently asked the same question? "Dear Santa, Define Good."
This stamped holiday or Christmas card features a stamped image colored with COPIC Sketch Markers.
The poinsettia is a Sizzix die cut. The pompom on the gal's hat is given dimension with white Fun Flock and a rhinestone bead is at her bracelet.
Otherwise, I used cardstock, scrapbook paper and a red velvet bow for additional trim.
The Penny Black web site provides information about where the "to your wishes" stamp is available for purchase, or if you prefer, it is available at Amazon. Refer to the link at the right.
Village Christmas Stamp
Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Village Stamp
This card features a stamped image of Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Village stamp.
I used black ink to stamp the image, then completed it using a technique known as Burnished Velvet ®, which was developed by a couple of local stampers.
For more info about the card and a link to a video demonstration of Burnished Velvet, please use this link: Thomas Kinkade Christmas Card
If you want to purchase a Thomas Kinkade stamp, please Google the term. Various web sites sell these items, or refer to the Amazon link to the right.
Steampunk Christmas Tree Stamp
This is the Steampunk Christmas Tree stamp used in the photo. It works remarkably well with heat embossing.
Hand Made Card with Stamped, Steampunk Holiday Tree
How about a steampunk tee on your stamped Christmas card?
I made this card using the Inkadoo Steampunk Christmas Tree stamp. I stamped it with a watermark ink such as Versamark, then heat embossed using silver embossing powder.
I made a tag with a stamped, heat embossed sentiment. The card and the tag are layered onto turquoise scrapbook paper, which has been dry embossed using an embossing folder. I have also heat embossed around the edges with silver powder. Additional elements include a small silver-colored charm, turquoise and white cord and a silver eyelet.
The Inkadoo stamp is available for sale at Amazon. Refer to the link to the right if you are interested.
If you have never heat embossed, I have included a video demonstration below showing how its done.

Holly and Berry Cling Stamp
This cling stamp would work nicely in the tag shown. And because its cling, it will take up less space in your craft area.
Holiday Tag with Stamped Holly and Berries
How about a fancy Christmas tag instead of a traditional card?
In the tag to the right, I stamped the holly and berries using a rubber stamp by The Artful Stamper called Holly Berries. I don't think it is still available. The stamp at Amazon to the right would work equally well.
In m tag, I stamped the image using green pigment ink, then coloured in the berries using a red marking pen.
Rudolph is a die cut made with a die and the Big Shot Universal Embossing and Die Cutting Machine. I cut it from brown velvet card stock.
I used a border punch to create the scalloped edges, as shown. The brown scalloping is done using the same border punch and a strip of the brown velvet card stock.
Rudolph has a red rhinestone on his nose.
Lastly, I poked a hole in the top of the tag and threaded it with a piece of yarn or fibre that matched the tag's colours.
The White Christmas Card
If you are interested in the "White Christmas" card shown at the top, the video below shows how I made it. It features a stamped image and a generous amount of glitter and glitter glue.
