Craft Materials

Craft Supplies and Crafting Materials

The craft supplies and crafting materials we have on hand often dictate what crafts we make. If you're like me, I save a lot of trash (junk) and then use it later to make crafts.

I also buy craft supplies like Mod Podge, acrylic craft paint, and polymer clay to name a few. Having lots of craft materials on hand makes it easy to get crafting when the urge strikes.

In this article, I've listed craft projects by the materials and craft supplies needed. Some of the craft materials I write about are books, lace, ribbon, buttons, clip art, bottle caps, and keys. I hope you find some crafting inspiration!

Photo of some craft supplies I keep on hand for when the crafting mood strikes. There's rocks, paint and brushes, jewelry tools and wire, beads, polymer clay roller and molds, magnets, buttons, Mod Podge, glue, and more. Oh so much more.

Metal Crafts - Metal is a wonderful craft material.

Metal crafts are sturdy and long lasting. The metals used can be as refined as gold or silver that is used to make jewelry or as clunky and rusty as old bottle caps and barbed wire. Metal can be versatile and very rewarding as a craft material because it can be cut, curled, painted, and left alone to change with time.
