Why Crayola Dry Erase Crayons are Popular with Kindergarten Teachers Everywhere

Crayola Dry Erase Crayons are popular with mums and kindergarten teachers because they are easy to use, keep kids clean and are economical.

They let kids explore their creativity which I think is important and they do it without reams of paper sprawled across the living room floor. Used with the dry wipe easels they are a fantastic way to have lessons or important art fun.

The Large Dry Erase Crayons are Great for Budding Artists

The Large Dry Erase Crayons are Great for Budding Artists

I like that the large dry erase crayons have deeper color than normal crayons and they are a bit thicker as this gives more options when coloring. Unlike the markers the crayons don't dry out so you don't have to worry about kids leaving off lids. This is great for adults watching purse strings and great for kids too. I know I can remember the low feeling finding my pens all dried up when the creative urge hit me. It is demoralizing for a creative youngster. Used with a dry erase board they are great as they are easy to remove and your child can create and recreate as much as they want to. They are also great for lessons.

Unlike Markers the Dry Erase Crayons are Fume Free!

One of the issues with dry markers is the fumes. If you are using markers in a classroom full of kids then that is a lot of markers and a lot of fumes. These Crayola Dry Markers ease that problem as they are fume free making them much safer and more pleasant to use.

Different colours are better for different boards though, the bright are better for the darker boards while the normal ones are better for using on the lighter boards. You get a mitten of microfibre to use for wiping them off the board.

You can use them as either dry or damp erase crayons. You can buy more wipes locally if you need them. And the wipes are easy to wash.

The crayons are really safe even for little ones at the tender age of 3. But always check the label to make sure you are happy they are safe for you.

Easy to Clean

It is best to use your crayons with the dry erase boards especially designed for it as these are easy to clean.

You can use the mitt that is supplied or a microfiber cloth. If you need a really clean surface you can use a wet paper towel or a baby wipe to get rid of any waxy residue build up
