The Crayola Magnetic Double Easel and Essential Supplies

Updated on November 30, 2014

Children Love the Crayola Magnetic Double Easel and So Will You!

Do you have a budding Picasso in your home? Maybe you should consider treating them to the Crayola Magnetic Double Easel.

If you are sick and tired of finding pen marks on your furniture and walls, this easel will help cultivate and focus your child's interest in art.

This easel has two work surfaces and offers your child four different ways to create a piece of artwork. One side is a dry erase board, which also happens to be magnetic, while the other side features a chalkboard.

There is also the option of hanging art paper to either side of the easel so your child can use the easel in the same way as the grown up, traditional artists do.

This Crayola easel comes with a number of accessories, so that your child has everything they need to hand, all in one place. Let's take a quick look at the some of the features of the Crayola Magnetic Double Easel and a few essential supplies to help your child with the process of making great art.

It's A Mini Art Studio

It's Just Cleverly Disguised As An Easel

For around $50, you get a lot of bang for your buck with this easel. This is what is included in the box:

  • A grand total of 77 magnetic letters and numbers
  • Four removable storage pots - great for holding brushes, coloring pens and chalk etc
  • Clips for holding paper to the easel (these come already attached to the easel)
  • An eraser
The Crayola Magnetic Double Easel stands at around 43 inches tall. It's made from highly durable plastic, which is weighted so it stands firm with no danger of falling over.

The double sided feature means that two budding artists can create their masterpieces at the same time.

Another cool feature of this easel is that it's foldable. When your child or children are done painting for the day, you can quickly pack and store it away to reduce any clutter.

With your child safely tucked away in an artists' smock, you don't have to worry about them getting too over enthusiastic with their creations. Your child can have unrestricted fun with their art, without ruining their clothes.

This little smock is made from clear vinyl and is super easy to clean. It has long sleeves too which is great; as we all know that even when our little ones roll up their sleeves, they still manage to get paint all up their arms.

The sleeves feature velcro closures so they adjust to any child's wrist size.

Recommended age: 3 to 8 years

This is still one of my childrens favorite toys. I bought this for them two years ago and while it looks worn and torn (they were 2 and 3) it's still a goto toy for them now.

@anonymous: I would have loved this as a child. Maybe I would have paid more attention in art class :)
