I love working with this yarn

This is perfect yarn not only for these bunnies, but also for working with Amigurumi and other crochet toys patterns. I also love the neutral color for the skin tone for dolls.

These make a great little irst project for kids who are learning to crochet. But also a very easy simple project for beginners, which looks way more complicated than it actually is. Impress your friends and family with ths cute Easter Bunny,

Time required: 1 hour

Difficulty: easy

Cost: Stash Busting Project

Materials:

  • Enoough Yarn to make a square.
  • Fiber Toy filling

Tools:

  • 3.50mm Hook
  • Yarn needle

Instructions:

1. Crochet a Square. This can be any size you wish.

I chained 25, Ch1, turn, Single crochet along to the last chain, Ch1, turn.

repeat working simngle crochet until work measures a square = Equal on both sides - this will vary if your tension is tighter or looser, you may find you need more less to make the piece square

2. Starting at one side of square, weave an end of yarn making a triangle. (Like in Pic) Do not fasten off we need these long threads )

3. Put a small amount of stuffing into the triangle and hold

4. Creat the rabbits head and ears bypulling threads tightly, firmly push the stuffing in and shape as you are doing this.

5. Fill the body of your rabbit

6. Sew along the top of your bunny's body

7. Finish off by sewing around the back and pulling tightly to close and add a small pom pom.

I am afraid I am not skillful enough to make one, but I would be very happy if somebody makes a bunny and give it to me as a present. My birthday is closer and closer ... ;)

Fabulous! I love the fact that this is so easy to make just from a square of crochet - no fiddly making of shaped parts.
