Even my daughter and my niece who are beginners at crochet love the simplicity of making these, perfect stash busting projects, and takes no time at all.
My sister-in-law is a knitter and she actually showed me how to make this cute bunny. I was so impressed by the outcome I just had to share it with you, but of course I am a crochet addict. You could make this in any fabric, following the step by step photos below to assemble

How to Crochet A Bunny Rabbit from a Square. - simple easy crochet project and oh so cute
I think my nieces are officially in love with this, not only are they making them, but I have requests from some local shops for these bunnies for them to show their easter displays off for. These make a great little irst project for kids who are learning to crochet. But also a very easy simple project for beginners, which looks way more complicated than it actually is. Impress your friends and family with ths cute Easter Bunny,
Time required: 1 hour
Cost: Stash Busting Project
- Enoough Yarn to make a square.
- Fiber Toy filling
- 3.50mm Hook
- Yarn needle
1. Crochet a Square. This can be any size you wish.
I chained 25, Ch1, turn, Single crochet along to the last chain, Ch1, turn.
repeat working simngle crochet until work measures a square = Equal on both sides - this will vary if your tension is tighter or looser, you may find you need more less to make the piece square
2. Starting at one side of square, weave an end of yarn making a triangle. (Like in Pic) Do not fasten off we need these long threads )
3. Put a small amount of stuffing into the triangle and hold
4. Creat the rabbits head and ears bypulling threads tightly, firmly push the stuffing in and shape as you are doing this.
5. Fill the body of your rabbit
6. Sew along the top of your bunny's body
7. Finish off by sewing around the back and pulling tightly to close and add a small pom pom.
