How to draw a watermelon
Who doesn't love a nice, juicy slice of a watermelon? I've drawn picnic scenes in the past before and I always like to draw in a watermelon somewhere on the picnic blanket! Wanna learn how to draw a watermelon slice? Well then this hub is just for you!
There aren't an overwhelming amount of tutorials out there that will show how to draw a watermelon slice with a pencil on paper, but that's okay! If you're curious about learning how to draw, feel free to keep reading this for step by step instructions.
Draw an upside triangle-like shape at the top of your paper. It will look somewhat like an egyptian pyramid at first, heh.
Draw in the bottom part of the watermelon. Sort of like an almost half oval.
Next, draw the bottom skin of the watermelon slice. This is the thin, green skin that can be found at the bottom if you were to look at a real piece of fruit.
Remember those little black seeds you would accidentally swallow while eating a watermelon as a kid? Those little things were so annoying! We're going to add some of these seeds in to our drawing. They are somewhat round but not entirely circular in appearance. The picture on the right should give you an idea of what the seeds will look like.
Lastly, fill in your seeds. Simply shade them in dark/black with your pencil or pen and voila! A simple piece of fruit in less than 5 minutes if followed correctly! Give it a shot and feel free to leave feedback on your experience. :)
