Just in case you're an anatomy diagram junkie like me, I wanted to include this link to a clip art book I love just brimming with all kinds of vintage medical drawings and illustrations.
Over 350 permission-free clipart images of human anatomy, including brains, hearts, ligaments and muscles, skulls and skeletons. Lots of medical and anatomical engravings dating from the late Victorian era through the early 20th century depict skeletons, major organs, medical instruments, surgical illustrations, physical abnormalities, and much more.
I'd love to hear how you plan to use these vintage images, I had a great time hunting them down and arranging them for easy printing. Personally I'll be using them in my art journal all the time - probably with snarky thought bubbles! They are also a good size for ATCs (artist trading cards) so I'll probably use them in that from time to time. I could see some of these being a great addition to Steampunk artwork, too. Oh, the possibilities...
