Free Coloring Pages for Women

Updated on November 17, 2014

Women Coloring

Printable woman, mom and teenage girl coloring pages. I have a variety of images for your enjoyment, along with some soothing music.

I love to color. It's a wonderful way to wind down. Between working, taking care of the kids and animals, not to mention housework, I'm ready for a break.

Hopefully you'll have fun with these. I also have a little trivia for you to enjoy while you're visiting.

This happens to be one of my favorite stories. I love the Disney movie and tears still come to my eyes during one scene towards the end.

By any chance, do you have a teenage daughter who likes to color? This can make for a very relaxing mother and daughter activity.

Because these images are more detailed than typical coloring pages for kids, I suggest you use coloring pencils instead of crayons. It will make it much easier to stay within the lines.

Having children, I've done a lot of coloring over the years. I have found Crayola to be great as they have quality pencils at a reasonable price. This 50 piece set has all the colors you need to color some great coloring pages.

Coloring a mandala can be a wonderful way to relax at the end of a hectic day. What I like to do is to put on some relaxing music while I color.

Many people find mandala coloring to be quite rejuvenating as they focus on the design and the strokes while they color. Some even use mandalas for meditation.

Women and Stress

Stressed Woman
Stressed Woman

Did you know that women tend to get more stressed than men? In addition, stress appears to be on the rise. This can result in headaches, upset stomachs and more.

This is one reason that coloring is so good for women. It gives us a reason to slow down and let our creative side come out, thus cutting back on the day to day stress we feel.

Here's a fun idea, Invite some friends over and have a coloring party. It's a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening with friends.

Just print out a variety of color pages, supply some crayons and pencils and let the creative juices flow. To keep things simple, you can make it a potluck appetizer party. This way everyone gets some good eats at the same time.

Coloring is very relaxing, and both of my girls (17 and 12) still enjoy coloring upon occasion. It's nice to see some coloring sheets that are for older people!

Two years ago my sister gave me a My Little Pony colouring book for Christmas as a joke. She also added some kids' crayons. I started colouring as a joke to show her, and... got hooked! It was like going back to childhood when I could sit down with my crayons for hours, and be relaxed and happy. I am definitely going to get more pages to colour and some more crayons (the My Little Pony book is now all coloured out and the crayons long gone...)
