      @Wednesday-Elf: Wednesday_Elf, I am more of a crocheter myself. Thanks for reading and I'm sorry you have trouble with knitting the clothing patterns. I am more into making the ones that work from the top down with no seams. Then you don't have to worry about left and right.

      I've never tried to knit a baby dress. I once knitted a baby sweater, but I knit left-handed and it became very frustrating reversing the pattern line by line to come out with the correct left and right sides. I was pretty new to knitting then and didn't think I could have just made the left side for the right, and vice versa. Anyway, I began the sweater when I was pregnant with my daughter, and finished it when my son was born nearly five years later...LOL. After that I switched to crochet and creating plush animals (no L or R sides. :-) Nice list here for people looking for knitting patterns for baby dresses.
