If you're looking for free printable calendars for kids, you'll find here a whole bunch of resources that you can use for your kids to print out and start using for their planning projects.

Kids love to plan in advance their upcoming trips to Disneyland or other fun holiday destinations. You can also teach your kids to be organized by jotting on the calendar important dates such as first day of school (or the last day of school), birthdays, a dentist's appointment, etc.

You can find many free calendars online, however not all are geared towards kids. Some are too boring for them, and others look too complicated. This is why this resource will be helpful for any kid who has something to plan in advance. Be it on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis, you can either simply print our ready-made calendars, or let your kid make their own with fun images and quotes before printing them out and then coloring them or decorating them to their liking.

These are calendars that can be used the whole year: simply print out the sheet or template for the next month and start adding new entries.

Print, fold, cut. Make your own mini calendar

First the hour, and then the day;

Small the daily loss appears,

Yet it soon amounts to years.

      I print off calendars for my journals, and for my diet/fitness charting occasionally. I like them better than store bought ones because they usually have more space for jotting notes, and don't take up as much room.

      I think calendars for kids are great as long as it is to keep them organized rather than structured into a "parent robot". I have seen enough episodes of Wife Swap to know that there are some crazy a** parents out there driving their kids nuts :O That being said you sure have pulled together an awesome list to choose from.
