Kids love to “make believe” and to act in plays or skits. By using puppets, they can say things, through the puppet, that they would usually be too shy to say. While puppets and puppet shows can be educational, the opportunity to use the imagination in making the puppets and performing skits is, in itself, important. I love the idea of using puppets when telling or reading stories to the little kids. My grandparents were great story tellers, I don't seem to have inherited the trait. I have to resort to reading the fairy tales. I'm glad to see that you've found a project that you want to make.
