Fun Spring Crafts and Activities Including Coloring Pages and Games

Updated on April 28, 2014

Fun Spring Activities

Fun spring activities for kids including crafts, coloring pages, outdoor activities, free online games and more. Kids can choose from an assortment of crafts, solve word searches, play connect the dot and many other delightful interests.

There are so many fun spring activities for kids to keep them busy both indoors and outdoors. They are a great way to help kids celebrate the end of the cold winter days and the warm, beautiful days of spring.

I have crafts and activities for different ages of kids, so there should be something for everyone here.

I always love when the animals come out in the spring. It's so fun to see them scurrying around, not to mention the wonderful sounds that the birds makes. This is why it seems like the perfect time of year to make some animal crafts. I hope you enjoy the selection below.

Spring Outdoor Activities for Kids

Spring is a perfect time to get the kids outdoors. With all of the flowers blooming, take a walk and see how many different types of flowers you can find.

Get some sidewalk chalk and let kids be creative by drawing some nice spring images. You can even draw a hopscotch.

A great spring project is to plant a children's garden. Kids will have fun planting one, then take pride in it as they watch it grow.

Don't forget about spring cleaning! You can take what both you and the kids no longer use and have a yard sale. Be sure the kids get to keep some of the money, then take them shopping for some new outdoor toys.

Flower Pot Craft

Terra Cotta Pot Picture

Here's a cute and easy spring craft. You'll need a Terra Cotta pot, paint and a brush, flat marbles and small plastic flowers.

Let kids paint the outside of a Terra Cotta pot. Fill the pot with flat marbles. Now they can "plant" their plastic flowers in it.

If you prefer, you can add soil and plant a small indoor plant. Now, by no means do I have a green thumb and my kids don't always remember to water plants. If this sounds familiar, I would recommend planting a small cactus.

Not sure I have a favorite spring activity, we are usually busy with animals, calves or lambs everywhere.Otherwise it's getting the garden ready for summer vegs. You have a busy lens here that will keep the children quiet for a while.
