Painting With 520-570 Nanometres

Updated on January 3, 2013

Green Paintings and Artwork From Flynn the Cat

Welcome to another unfinished lens of mine! *waves happily and unrepentantly* Don't worry - all the important bits are here - namely, the pictures. Which are green. All green. Except the bits which aren't (like the golden butterflies on the left). But for the most part, there is a distinct greenish theme. Anyway, I wanted to have this up for St. Patrick's Day, so I'm making sure to put it together early!

Please enjoy browsing the various paintings - they range from fantasy, to forests, to grass, to really weird people, including one futuristic warrior with glowing green tattoos.

I usually write a lot of description to accompany the various artworks - that's the unfinished part! If you want to know more about any particular one, they all link to the original on DeviantART, or (where available) the Zazzle poster.

Mystery - 8th February, 2008

Painted in ArtRage 2.5

Mystery was a Christmas present for a friend. The green is because they like green and I associate them with that colour (that and black and white). The title actually comes from me saying "I have something for you" "what?" "It's a mystery... mwahahaha" (more or less paraphrased!).

This is one of my favourite places in the whole world - Dartmoor.

Volcanic activity pushed the land up into hills, with granite lifted out of the top - these rock formations are called Tors and are BRILLIANT for rock climbing.

The view across the moors is amazing, and there's almost always a wind.

She rests among the mosses

A shrine of wood and wishes

In this quiet sunlit forest

She is peaceful, not forgotten.
