How to Make a Pom Pom with a Fork

The picture alone makes me smile. A cute litte pom pom made with a fork !. Everybody has a fork around the house.

Now what you do have to keep in mind with this project is that most forks are small , hence your pom pom is going to be small. You can always consider using a serving fork to create a larger version.

How to Make Pom Poms with a Loom

I made this really beautiful loopy pom-pom using the Knifty Knitter flower loom. Many other brands make the flower loom which is usually used to make flowers.

This is one of my favorite pom-poms because it looks so much like a bow. I have seen it used on gifts and it looks stunning especially if you use the a yarn with a lot of sheen.

The Clover Pom Pom Maker

INEXPENSIVE - For a Perfect Pom Pom Every time

This is an inexpensive tool that can do so much for your pom pom craft project.

I have used the hand, the cardboard, the square matte and the Clover. I have been much happier using the Clover tool. The reason is simple: I have better control over the size and density of my Pom Poms.

They come in a variety of sizes but the Large just happens to be the one I use the most. You must keep in mind that the Pom Pom will be smaller then the tool. The completed Pom Pom needs to be trimmed so that you can have a nicely round circle?
