Knifty Knitter Cowl Patterns

Updated on September 13, 2014

Cowl Patterns for the Knifty Knitters

This page is ode to the cowl, otherwise known as the scarf that will never blow off. There are many beautiful cowls that can be knitted on the Knifty Knitter looms. I have listed them below and organized them by the type of loom required to make it. Most are done on the extra large round loom, but there are also a few patterns here for long and rectangle loom cowls.

Cowl from Lion Brand Yarn - for the Yellow Round Loom

Cowl Pattern from Lion Brand

This pattern will take an experienced knitter and evening to make, or a beginner a few days. It uses the one-over-two stitch, or knit by pulling one loop over the top two on the peg. Continue knitting until it's 20 inches long. A unique cast-off technique is used, placing waste yarn in each stitch until the edge is sewn under and the waste yarn is discarded.
