How To Make It Glow

Updated on August 16, 2014

How To Make Everything Glow

There is a real glow in the air this year and it's filled with everything you need to light up the night. The trend this year is the brighter the better from food to fingernails and this lens has it all. If you can't see it, you need to make it glow!

Would you believe the glow stick is over 25 years old. When it was first invented it was intended as a temporary light source for campers and divers. Today it's popularity has grown to fashion and hit the crafting world by storm.

If it were up to me my entire house would illuminate a soft gentle glow you could see from out of space. I would light it up like a toxic waste dump during a nuclear holocaust. Ok, I am exaggerating, but I still think the greatest invention of mankind is the led light.

Cheap And Easy Ambien Table Light

You will need:

1 glass dish

1 box acrylic diamonds

1 flameless Candle

1 small mirror

Place the flameless candle in the dish and turn it on. Cover with the diamonds and place the glass dish on top of the mirror.

This is great on a dinner table or outside table for some ambien lighting.

You will get a better sparkle if you use cut crystals instead of acrylic, but they will cost a bit more. It's worth the small extra charge.

Glow Stick Clothing

This is so easy. Using glow sticks and a black shirt and pants you can make yourself glow in the dark for up to 2 hours. The more glow stick or the thicker the stick the longer it will last. Just break the glow stick to ignite the chemicals to start to glow. Attach the sticks going around your clothing with some elastic snaps. Use the snaps because you can replace the sticks as they start to go out.

This makes a great Halloween costume for kids because they can be easily seen if Trick or Treating at night.

Use Tonic Water In Jello Shots And They Glow Under Blacklight

Tonic water glows under black lights so they make wonderful decorations for hot parties or even to impress both adults and children. Classes can even use tonic water as a science lesson. You can substitute tonic water for regular water when making jello and really impress your guests.

Glowing Lights

Glowing Lights

I light up everything with the Everlasting lights. I have cats so lighting candles and leaving them can be dangerous. I also love the flicker and relaxation I get with a candle so this was the perfect option. They really look like flames yet are safe for anywhere. I also gave one to my young Niece when she slept over and she could navigate at night without having to call me to help her.

Are you talking about real living scorpions glowing under a black light? Or just some store bought novelty? Either way, they look awesome! Gave you lens a thumbs up. Would have done more, but that's all I'm allowed to do right now.
