My Favourite Baby Blanket & Afghan Crochet Patterns Book
My go to Favourite book of Baby Blanket Crochet patterns is 'Best Baby Afghans' which is full to the brim of the most beautiful blankets to make. There are not just 1, 2 or 5 but 54 original and unique crochet patterns each one as delightful as the next, the way in which the patterns are written make them easy to understand and will help you create the most beautiful baby blankets, to wrap those little ones up in some handmade love.
With this book I guarantee you will never run out of ideas or projects. I have even made a shawl following one of the patterns.
My Mother's friend gave me this book, but I mislaid it on my travels, so I was over joyed when I was given a brand new copy of the Best Baby Afghans by Arts and Leisure.
The quality of the patterns and the easy manner in which the steps are written, makes this a winner. And one of my all time favorite Pattern Books in my collection.
It is packed full of ideas, and inspiration for you to easily create those luxurious soft, ruffly baby blankets, each one as different as the next. Giving you lots of crochet project possibilities.
Even as an intermediate crocheter it is still my go to reference book for creating pram and blankets sets.
I have taken the body of one pattern and mixed and matched the ruffle and finish from another. When I am asked if I can make a set for a gift, I automatically reach for this book and let the customer choose their favorite, whether its the one blanket or a mix of 2 or 3.
The photos in the book are wonderful and show off the delicate lace patterns,. Some stitches look advanced but are actually very easy to make. And they help me to look like an expert in the intricate stitches of crochet
If you know a crocheter this would be a fantastic gift, it is a pattern book that has stood the test of time, and is proven by those who are repeat buyers of it.
I am always asked for pram blankets and baby sets. Soon you will be crocheting beautiful blankets like this one, this is made using the Corner to Corner crochet technique sweeping the crafting community.
