Perler Bead Patterns

Updated on December 21, 2014

Perler, Hama and Fuse Bead Patterns

Perler beads are a type of bead, which when heated (with an iron), fuse together. Children will love making their projects on a pegboard. The ideas here will help them get started. They may decide after a few projects that they would like to try their hand at creating their own designs.

This page contains a great collection of perler bead, hama bead or fuse bead patterns for you to use with your peg boards. You'll find all kinds of animals, flowers and transport perler bead patterns and more! After each link, I have specidfied the peg board needed for the project.

I created the cute penguin pattern on the left by using some special software.

Enjoy =D

These interlocking large square pegboards have got to be my favorite shape. They are so versatile. You can make very big pictures on them by interlocking the squares together, but you can also use one of these boards instead of the small square pegboard.

You'll find that many of my patterns are based on the square board.

I also love these small geometric shaped pegboards - they are perfect for smaller projects when you don't have many beads, much time .... or much patience!

Have you ever made perler bead crafts or made your own patterns?

      @anonymous: Hi Ana. Toy shops would probably stock these beads, or you could buy them online from Amazon or eBay (see my page above for links).
