Sally's Dancing Angels Doily!

This is a doily I designed for my best friend Sally. This doily was started on December 27, 2011 and completed on January 30, 2012 and was published as a crochet-along.

This was done in all #10 threads.

I hope you enjoy doing the little doily! I am rating it Intermediate ability due to use of double treble crochet, popcorns, etc. This pattern was offered free for six months but has now been moved to my pattern store. It is available through the link below.

A Word About Thread Selection...

All the thread used in this doily will be size 10. If you want to do yours in 20 or 30, it will be just fine.

Just An Idea...

If you stop at the end of round 5, it would make a pretty neat snowflake, I think!

Beading

I am just starting the beading which will be extensive. I will show a photo of the final piece when it is complete. I prefer to sew on my beads by hand for more exact placement. I'm planning to do crystals on all the angels' heads and all along the border, for starters... and I'll go from there.

The white doily at the top *does* look like a snowflake. Thanks for sharing your interesting designs.
