Scented Jar Candle Brings Warmth and Atmosphere to Your Home

Updated on February 16, 2018

Discount Yankee Candles & More

The air has become cool and brisk, and the days are definitely growing shorter: Autumn is almost here. Soon there will be frost on the pumpkins, the trees will turn the landscape alight with their brilliant foliage, and the indescribable aroma of freshly baking apple pie will be filling the air.

Every fall I pick the apples myself, right off my own tree, and the sweet smell of the fresh apples combined with the spicy scent of autumn leaves is something I treasure every year. I wish I could enjoy it right now, and by lighting a scented jar candle, I can.

I've always loved scented candles, they add an atmosphere of cozy comfort that makes me feel at home wherever I am. Many evenings, settling down to relax at the finish of a hectic, busy day with some of my discount yankee candles nearby is exactly what I need to unwind.

Scented jar candles aren't just a relaxing and attractive addition to home decor, it has actually been shown that they can reduce your heating bill, too. When the season starts turning cold, the air becomes noticeably cooler, particularly in the evening. Instead of turning on your heat, try lighting a scented jar candle instead, and enjoy both the warmth and the aroma.

Discount Candles Add Decor to Home on the Market

For those looking to sell a house, many have found that placing a scented candle in a decorative candle holder while the house is open and being shown can encourage buyers to take a closer look at the house.

A warm, inviting scent, like sugar cookies or fresh linen, will give your house a clean, comforting atmosphere that will have buyers imagining that this could be their home. First impressions are extremely important, and a stale or unpleasant smell could irreversibly taint their impression of your house.

Placing your candles in a candle holder, such as is the case with scented jar candles, is a good idea if you have small children or pets in your household. Regular candles have unprotected flames, a potential risk that isn't found with jar candles, which are encased in a secure glass covering.

For safety reasons, therefore, a candle holder or jar candle is a far more practical solution, and you can enjoy your scented candles without fear, particularly since such discount candles can be placed in additional containers if more protection feels necessary.

Great article. I love scented candles and buy Busy Bee Candles all the time. They are inexpensive and seem to last and last. Beautiful scents. I'd recommend the baby powder - amazing fragrance that fills the whole house. If you haven't tried soy candles yet, try one. You won't be disappointed.
