Mayflower Day - September 16 Holiday

On September 16, 1620, the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth, England to begin its journey to America. The journey took sixty six days. The men, women and children aboard were the first immigrants to land in America. Mayflower Day is a day to remember these brave people.

Being in Southern California, I love September because the weather is still nice and there are not very many tourists around. To me, that's the best part about September!

I love the Koala and the Elephant too. Elephants are so amazing; the way they take care of each other and mourn the passing of other elephants.

I like things are back in rhythm, friends are back from vacation, weather is not so hot anymore and there are almost always some new opportunities showing up in September and October. Sort of fresh start, you know:)

Koalas are such beautiful animals. I liked your lens and I think September is one of the best months - roasted chestnuts, corn, wine, colorful leaves...Very nice lens.
