Felted Easter Basket for the Round Looms

This felted Easter basket is from the "Gettin It Pegged" blog. It isn't free, but it is just so cute, I couldn't keep it to myself. You can download the pattern for a very small fee. Felted items are knitted with wool, then washed to shrink. Felted wool looks and feels like thick fabric.

Knifty Knitter Bunny - Bunny Pattern for the Blue Round and Spool Looms

Rabbit for the Blue Loom

This blossom bearing bunny is a creation of Brenda from the Loom Lore blog. She knitted it using the blue round loom and then made the legs of the bunny using the spool loom. To make this bunny, you'll need to know the flat knit stitch, decrease stitch, drawstring cast on and a few other techniques, so this isn't an ideal project for beginners. This will take an intermediate level knitter about a day.

Knifty Knitter Bunny Purse

This pattern for a small purse or cell phone tote with a bunny face is from the Ben Franklin Crafts website. The blue round loom is used to make the purse. Ewrap holding a strand of yarn and a strand of fun fur as if they are one yarn. The pattern uses the gathered bind off to close the bottom of the purse. A pom pom maker is recommended to make the bunny's cheeks.

I found this pastel party favor purse at the "Judy's Handmade Creations" blog. Judy makes paper crafts using the Cricut cutter, which come from Provo Craft, the same company that distributes the Knifty Knitter looms. Whether you want to craft your own paper purse, or simply decorate a bag you've purchased, this decorative bow will be perfect. It's made using the flower loom and Judy has a video on her blog explaining how she made it.

Mini Easter Basket by Simply Intertwined

This is a very small Easter basket done on the round loom. It is the right size to hold small pieces of candy, a couple of eggs, or a small toy. The basket is loomed using two strands of yarn as one. It starts with the drawstring cast on. The body of the basket is done by alternating sets of knit 3 and purl 3.

Loom Flowers for Spring

Here's a quick tutorial from Caring Caps Inc. on how to make loom flowers on any round loom. She uses bulky yarn in 3 rows for the flowers in the freeze frame. The center of the flower is also made with bulky weight yarn.
