Take Your Own Blog Pictures
The Personal Touch For Your Blog
Internet picture libraries have some awesome content. Time disappears while viewing these libraries admiring the processing applied to the images.
But there are limits, one is that the pictures on display don't always suit my blog topic, another is the amount of money I have to spend on images for my blog or lens. The solution is to take my own pictures.
An this is really easy to do, I found my first digital camera and snapped, strange and unusual, okay, awful, pictures on auto. The point being, that sometimes the awful pictures are actually the best for a blog, and better, can be used to inspire a post or add colour and character to a blog.

Tips to Get Started
For this lens I have used my Cannon Powershot A560, you can still buy new models of this camera, but as the camera has been around for eight years there are plenty of second hand camera available for purchase. The thing is, the camera you use for creating photographic blog content is not all that important. Most phones take usable pictures.
A blog page upload prefers the smaller sized photo, 640 x 480 pixels. I like using the largest file format the camera has because I have more options for using my photo's. It is much easier to reduce the size of my photo using either Microsoft's Media centre of the software that came with the camera. This is hobby photography and for many bloggers comes with an affordable price tag. Free.
A blog does not need fancy professional photos. The fresh rustic content of an amateur has a charm that includes the reader blogger's story, it welcomes, providing a sense of belonging, of coming home. So don't tell yourself that your photo is not good enough. Remember a picture is worth a thousand words.
Remember have some fun, decorate your blog with pictures. See the world your way, find a different angle, the unusual, or the beautiful, the world is waiting for your ideas and insight.
A later model with improved features and fundtions
This is for a budget concious blogger, this model has some really nice features for the price.

A Confidence Boost
I like the guys at DigitalRev TV for their nonsense, they give great information, but never, ever do they take themselves seriously.
