Photographs in Motion: Spectacular Sweep Panoramic Photographs
Fabulous Panoramic Photographs and How to Take One Using a Sony Cybershot with Sweep Panorama
I have always loved panoramic photographs but never knew how to take one. I knew that you had to move the camera and then stitch them together somehow.
The photos actually aren't in motion but you need to move the camera to take them. When checking on different cameras and prices, it always seemed so complicated and expensive.
I looked at different types of cameras and most do not have any panoramic features. You needed to buy a regular camera, tripod and "fancy-schmancy" software to staple the photos together.
With the advent of the Sony Shot with Sweep Panorama, I am now able to take panoramic photos rather easily and I love it!
Some of the photos in this site are mine and some are from other artists on locations that I would like to visit.
I think these photos are rather scenic and beautiful and I encourage you to spend your time browsing.
Thanks for the visit!
Panoramic Photos
Are they in your list of favorites?
Grandpa didn't teach me about photography, he was asleep.
I love taking photos of just about everything and have since I was a kid. I have boxes of old photos in storage but I was happy that they invented the digital camera.
While I love flipping through old photo books and looking at old images, photo taking and developing "in the old days" was a hassle. I have most of my Father's old cameras and they are pretty worthless today in these days of digitalization and technology.
I have had a few digital cameras but recently purchased a Sony Cybershot. I was amazed at the ease of use of this camera and all of the different kinds of photos you could take.
Although you can still set it manually, it does a lot automatically. Recently, I took pictures of fireworks on the 4th of July and was amazed it even had a setting for them.
I mainly bought this picture for my online sales business as I could take sharp, crisp photos without having to do a lot of Photoshop work.
Another reason I bought it was that it has a panoramic capability and "stitches" the photos together automatically using this technology. I was particularly interested in getting some shots of Arizona sunsets in the Autumn. I can't wait for this!
I highly recommend that you try one and you will be hooked like I am.
Although I didn't take some of the photos on this site using my camera, it would've taken spectacular shots like the ones seen. These shots are the ones I would take if I were at those locations.

"I knew the wild riders and the vacant land were about to vanish forever... and the more I considered the subject, the bigger the forever loomed. Without knowing how to do it, I began to record some facts around me, and the more I looked the more the panorama unfolded. "

A Sony Cybershot is the type of camera that I own. is a dial on the top that I will show below. All you need to do is move the dial to the panoramic feature, click the photo button and then move the camera either right or left (in the direction of the arrow) and then stop it when you are done.
You don't need to move it as fast as the illustration appears above, just a slow moving sweep across the horizon and voila, you have a professional landscape panoramic photograph.
I have provided a link below from Amazon below where you can buy this amazing camera.
