BEST 2014 Thomas Kinkade Calendar
The Incredible art of Thomas Kinkade
I have never been a the type of guy who has been moved by esoteric art. To me blobs on a canvas look like....blobs on a canvas.
This is part of the reason I have always been such a fan of the art of Thomas Kinkade. Thomas paints hyper-realistic paintings. They often showcase idyllic settings and locations. Things like cabins in the snowy woods or idyllic garden scenes. But somehow he does them in such a way that light and emotion almost seem to jump off the canvas. I don't know how he does it, or what styles and techniques he has used to make his light, "pop" the way they do, but his art is instantly recognizable, like a Picasso or a Norman Rockwell painting.
Once you see his bright whites, and warm happy feeling paintings, you will know them when you see them ...again and again.
I first saw a Thomas Kinkade painting in a gallery in San Diego over 25 years ago. It was one of his traditional pictures of a cabin with its lights blaring in the midst of a snowstorm, Not something typical to sunny San Diego, but it was moving and had a special quality.
Now everyone can enjoy that special quality with this large collection of calendar paintings from this "master of light".
Thomas died on April 6, 2012. Nearly all of his art has been reproduced as printed reproductions. In fact, his art has become so popular, ubiquitous and well received that it is estimated that 1 in 20 homes in America has one of his prints.
If you have a passion for the warm and happy feelings, the bright colors, hope and "family" feel of the art of Thomas Kinkade, you will surely love this ultimate 2013 special Collectors edition of Kinkade art, that is filled with the warn pleasant tones and wonderful art that could only be painted by the master: Thomas KinKade
