Mini Albums - Toilet Paper Rolls Scrapbooking

Updated on September 24, 2014

Scrapbook Created from Loo Rolls? Why not!

This page collects links to online resources about creating scrapbooks using toilet paper rolls as primary "ingredient". Here you can find video tutorials how to make mini albums from paper rolls, links to online resources, ideas for mini album themes and images of already created mini albums for inspiration (you can use those as source of ideas how to create your own mini scrapbook from toilet paper tubes).

All the resources collected here are really gathered because I am interested to create one of these myself and I like to research a subject before starting to work! :)

In the past, have you already created a mini album / scrapbook?

Mini Album - Best Choice for Beginers in Scrapbooking

As I mentioned already, I'm total novice in scrapbooking field. And although I know many people find this fascinating as a hobby, I simply didn't know where to start. And that's why I decided to start with something small.

That's just one of the things I like about mini albums - they are little! They don't need as much time, energy, materials, embellishments, pictures, etc., as the usual, big size scrapbook albums!

Another thing I like about mini albums - they can be created from just about anything! From paper bags, old or broken CDs, or even toilet paper rolls like in these pages!

Because of the size, they are fast to create and, seeing them finished right in front of you, will give you sense of accomplishment instead of losing any inspiration you had after 10 days and still not done with a work!

When you create mini albums, how much of it is from recycled materials from your home?

I've never tried scrapbooking but this looks like a lot of fun. I have to make one, at least a more primitive version. I don't have the fancy tools. Thanks for sharing this lens.

Used to recycle everything but now because we have people here in Cambodia happy to have every piece of paper they can sell, we just give it away. They make really good bags out of juice boxes. Very creative like your lens.

I kept looking for the stuff! Then I realized this is one of those tabbed lenses. Hard to get used to the format.

How neat is that!! I never seem to have any toilet paper rolls left over though. I use them all for planting my veggie seeds.

I think I might apply the technique to making notebooks - I've been saving toilet rolls for ages, hoping to be ~inspired~ to use them and here it is!

Getting ready to do a scrapbook for my grandson's 2nd birthday (in 5 days). Don't think I can use enough toilet paper between now and then to make a scrap book!
