Handmade Valentine Gift Card Holders
You can't go wrong with a gift card, but by themselves, they can be rather impersonal. Why not tuck your gift card inside one of these cute Valentine gift card holders. They're easy and fast to make. All you need is an ordinary envelope and some Valentine themed paper. The card fits into one side and there is a space on the other for you to write your personal message.
Naturally, you can trim and embellish your gift card holders anyway you like -- lace, stickers, ribbons, buttons, punched flowers, etc.
They make ideal last minute Valentine gifts for those occasions when you forgot or postponed getting your gift. You can pick a gift card up anywhere and make the card holders in a matter of minutes. No one will ever guess that you hadn't been planning for weeks. :-)

Heart Medallions Make this a Stunning Item
This hand made Valentine card, with its layered heart medallions is almost a gift in itself. It's definitely a keeper. It does take a little time and skill to make, since it uses techniques from rubber stamping and heat embossing. Handmade Mini Book for a Valentine Gift
5 ThingsI Love About You
This make such a cute Valentine gift for anyone who is near and dear to you. By modifying the trim and papers, you can make an adorable Valentine gift for someone special -- be it boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, child, sister, parent, niece, grandchild, etc. I could even see it as a gift for teacher. When you stop to think about it, who wouldn't be thrilled to receive something like this from a loved one?
The mini book contains five pages, which are formed from coin envelopes (the kind you can buy at office supply stores). Since each page is made from an envelope, it has an opening. Each opening contains a tag, on which you write one thing you love about the recipient.
It's not difficult to make, although you will need a few hours. It is also a suitable craft project for children of perhaps age eight and upwards. They will need some supervision, though. I taught this project to a group of eight year olds, and they produced lovely books to give to their moms or dads.
The supply list is simple: You need five coin envelopes, two rectangles of stiffer paper, cardboard or chipboard for the front and back covers, colored paper with a Valentine's theme, cardstock for the tags, and miscellaneous items to decorate.
For complete instructions, the video demonstration below shows you precisely how to make this Valentine gift.

Heart Shaped Album on Amazon
This heart shaped album is not identical to the one shown in my pictures. However, if would work well and you could easily make a beautiful Valentine's Day gift with this item. Since it is acrylic and not chipboard, all pages would be transparent. It would be a stunning effect when you are finished.
Heart Shaped Albums Make Wonderful Valentine Gifts
These heart shaped mini albums are wonderful gift ideas for almost anyone that is special to you. You can buy heart shaped chipboard albums, or you could make your own using cardboard (pizza boxes, cereal boxes) and a simple hand drawn heart pattern.
This particular heart shaped mini album was a gift for a senior cousin, and its filled with pictures of family members.
If you are handy with the computer and have some digital photographs, you could print them out in heart shapes, as I did, or you could print them and trim them to fit the page afterwords.
For complete instructions for making this mini album, please refer to the video demonstration below.
