How To Make Wire Sculptures?

Updated on February 11, 2016

Wire Sculptures

I Love how my airy and open wire sculptures are made by hand twisting and weaving wire in order to create these lace-like eye catching figures. Each sculpture created is therefore unique.

Creative Wire

Homely Eneries- Esty

"Homely Energies" love to live inside or in the garden, they can be hung with fishing wire, (that will be provided) to give the illusion of flying or standing looking as if about to fly resting against an object. It is approximately 12cm tall and is created of different shades of metallic wire in different thicknesses. These Mystical creatures, love to show off their graceful dance skills, and are closely related to fairies.

They're available in varying sizes and colors. Each one will be made to order just for you.

Please note- this wire sculpture is best indoors. Due to the wire may rust if exposed to the elements or left in a humid environment for extended periods. A clear spray varnish may be applied periodically by the customer for protection, however I assume no responsibility for rust due to exposure.

Like so many of us, Mystical creatures are not very photogenic much better- looking in real life.

Add some mystical magic in to your life.

How To Make A Easy Wire Sculptre

Sculpture by Michael Gard

His sculptures are amazing and also how he makes them!

Michael Gard - Woven Wire Sculptor -

The largest component of the sculptures is air, reminiscent of the human body being made up of 70% water, giving the essence of a solid form.

They are able to seamlessly blend into a variety of environments, also reminiscent of humanity.
