In World War 2, posters were used to help to keep the country motivated and believing in the great war. WWII propaganda posters were also a big part of disseminating the governments message.

Rosie the Riveter may be one of the most famous examples of the World War 2 propaganda posters. The image or Rosie was to help encourage women to enter the workforce to support the war effort from the home front.

These World War 2 posters had an important job. They helped to keep Americans motivated and supporting the country in those difficult times.
