2011 GMC sierra & 2011 silverados are brothers.

Updated on April 22, 2011

As of today lots of truck buyers are heavily contemplating on whether they should buy a 2011 GMC Sierra or a 2011 Chevy Silverado. Let me tell you some of the major differences of the two. The differences as mentioned are minor. It's mostly interior trim and body panels, although they have different available options and slightly different prices. I believe they have a few slight variations concerning suspension/transmission/engine parts, but nothing of major concern.

They’re both great vehicles. I sat in the Chevrolet Silverado recently, its' a great truck, I loved the ride and interior quality is great. But for the most part, it's not much different from the Sierra, the Sierra is simply meant to be taken as a more "work" truck, a little bit more durable interior and different badge. So when you’re going out to buy a new truck the better question to ask yourself is, “am I more a GMC or a Chevy fan?”.
