In 1957, the Harley Davidson Motor Company introduced the first Sportster model that were commonly named "Sporty". These early models were powered by a V Twin motor which was replaced with the Evolution engine in 1986. The Evolution motor came in 883cc and 1200cc hence the marker for the 2012 Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883.

      great Lens you got here. I just picked up the 2012 1200c this year and Love it. I used HD bike builder and got it in about 6 weeks. It is my first HD and is still stock...I know i know, I gotta get that HD sound..:) Thanks for sharing this lens...

      I only need one car, but I could easily have several different bikes. I ride a parallel twin BMW F800R. Harley will be my next addition.

      @HarleyDude: I'm thinking of getting one too. The only draw back I can see is that it's really only suited for one, but I would like to take my girl out once in a while. I guess I could get the rally seat, but I think it would look funny. By the way, just made my first lens from our blog Harleyathome.com, could use some comments. Thanks
