3 Different Types Of Bikes That Will Blow Your Mind
Bikes, ehh. I had gone for a late night ride the other day on my Bajaj Pulsar 220F, to test the new Castrol Engine Oil that I had filled earlier that day. As I was smoothly, cruising along something struck me. Bikes have pretty much remained the same since they were invented. Apart from improvements in engines and oils and stuff, the basic concept is the same. So I did some research on bikes and concepts, below are three bikes that got me thinking!
1. Lotus C-01
This Lotus C-01 has me salivating. Futuristic looks, and in feel too, I’m sure. How I’d love to borrow this bike for a day. This bike is a true thing of beauty. A great concept, that saw limited production. A biker’s dream.
Straight away this caught my eye. Being a true biker, this made me cringe. Let’s get one thing clear, this is not a bike. The Ryno is more like an electric unicycle that runs on a battery. It has a top speed of around 30 kmph, and a range of 30km on its lithium ion battery. I’d say it’s half the ride, none of the fun. I see the appeal in this, but not for bikers, not one bit.
3. Ecosee ES1 Spirit
By limiting drag, increasing power, and manipulating the physics of weight distribution, former Formula 1 engineers had planned to make the ES1 the best sport bike ever. Sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it? Sadly, this concept never really took off.
As I ride along these empty roads at midnight with the winter wind in my hair, I sometimes wonder, ‘what if?’. What if I was filling the Castrol oil and cruising in a Lotus C-01 instead. Only a selected few are fortunate enough, but then again, only a select few are Bikers.
