      Weight restrictions apply to some scooters e.g. Razor E100 has a 54kg upper limit so not particularly adult friendly

      That is interesting Singular Investor. I wonder how fast the electric scooter he had could go; there must be some kind of deciding factor that determines what has to be used on the road and what can be used elsewhere.

      Interesting hub on electric scooters - some guy in the UK has just been fined by a judge for using his electric scooter on the pavement. He said it was a vehicle and should be used on the road :-)

      I might look silly riding one of these things but out in California especially on the beach these would make an excellent way to commute from one end of the beach to the other. Excellent hub!
