Britax Car Seats and Booster Seats

If you are thinking of buying a Britax car seat then congratulations are in order either to you or a friend or a member of your family. Protecting your child while riding in the car is one of the most important things you can do as a parent. Since you are looking for car seats you have come to the right place.

Britax brand car seats are a quality car seat that is made well, and also for sale at an affordable price to fit into your budget and these days that's very important whether the purchase is for your own child or just a gift it's still important that it fits your budget. The Britax name let's you know that you are getting a quality product that will keep your little one safe in the case of any accidents. Britax brand car seats are made to fit your child from the time they are an infant in a rear facing Britax Baby seat all the way until they are a big boy or girl in a front facing booster seat. The Britax B Safe and Chaperone get favorable reviews from many parents they are rear facing only, and are the first car seat you will bring you infant home from the hospital in. All that planning and getting ready will come down to this one trip. Bringing your new baby home from the hospital. Congratulations, so make sure they are correctly placed in a rear facing infant car seat. They will take the smallest infants up to about thirty pounds or so. If this is your first child and you have never put a car seat in the car before make sure you read the directions closely. If you still have trouble understanding or are just not sure about it because let's face it there is a lot to be not sure of during this time. There are always classes put on by the local fire dept. or the highway patrol on the correct way to put in your car seat.

Britax car seats are larger seats made for when your child gets bigger. I know it's hard to believe but that little infant you just brought home is going to get bigger and when he/she gets bigger than about 30 pounds or so it's time for a new Britax Car Seat. The Roundabout 55 or the Marathon 70 can accomodate your toddler up to about seventy pounds or so. Hard to believe your little one is not so little anymore are they. Not to mention they are starting to be really fun to play with and they are walking and talking and doing all the things that little people do in the world. Isn't it fun being a mom or a dad?

Britax Booster Seats

Booster Seats

When your child gets to be forty to one hundred and twenty pounds and stands between thirty eight and sixty three inches tall they can move up to the Britax Parkway SG or Parkway SGL Booster Seat. These booster seats are primarily designed to place your childs body in a position so that the shoulder belt will come over there shoulder and across their chest. This is so that in case of a crash they will be restrained, which is the whole point of the shoulder restraint. Without the booster seat your child is not in the correct position to be restrained. Try it sometime when you are not going anywhere place them in the seat with out the booster and see where the shoulder belt hits them chances are it will cross in front of their face or over their head. The booster seat raises their body up so that the belt crosses their shoulder at the right place and restrains them. That is the whole point of the booster seat. I think you will be very happy with any of the Britax products that you buy.
